Teachers - Social
I was born and raised right here in Medicine Hat, Alberta. After graduating from Medicine Hat High School in 2000, I lived in San Francisco, California for two years. When I returned, I moved up to Edmonton and began my studies at the University of Alberta, eventually making my way into Education. I completed my B. Ed in 2008 and soon began teaching in Slave Lake, Alberta. It has been very exciting to be return home with my family and work on this new chapter in our lives.
I have been married to my wife, Katey, for ten years. We have four sons: Ben, Brigham, Liam, and Lukas. We enjoy spending time together reading, playing games, and travelling... at least as often as we can manage to get away.
After spending the last 5 years teaching high school Social Studies, I was privileged to be able to work with Grade 8 students for the first time teaching Humanities. That continues in the 2014/2015 school year where not only will I be able to teach Grade 8 Humanities again, but I will also have the pleasure to teach Social 10-2 (Semester 1) and Social 9 (Semester 2)
I will be working on a few things to make sure that you know what we're up to in the classroom, and that you can contact me with any questions.
