Packing List (Suggested)
BASIC RULE
Do not overload your luggage as you will as to walk with your bag or suit case!
Tip # 1: rolled clothes takes less space.
Tip # 2: to bring only the necessary, make sets of clothes while packing
No more than 1 suitcase (Maximum of 50 lbs)
Back-up as carry-on
- Change of clothes
- Toiletries <100mL
- Prescription medication/gum/gravol (if needed)
- Glasses/contact lenses (no solution more than 100ML)
(Please include a 24 hour survival kit in your child’s carry on such as toothbrush, change of clothes, etc.) We did have our luggage arrive late one year!)
Outdoor/Activity Wear
- Snow Pants
- Snow boots
- Warm winter jacket (good for Quebec Winters)
- 2-3 pairs of ski gloves/mittens
- Wool socks
- Toques/scarves/bellaclavas
- Sun glasses (to protect your eyes from the cold and the wind and the sun)
- Ski goggles optional for toboganning
- Long johns/yoga pants/leggings for under snow gear
- Sandals or indoors shoes for hotels (pool)
- Bathing suit
Lists of items
- Camera/Cell Phone and chargers
- Ear buds for plane ride
- Books/items to keep you occupied on plane or some long bus rides
- Picture ID (School ID will suffice)
- Money for lunches
- Spending money (Pre-paid Visa/Debit card)
- Empty water bottle (to fill with water after passing security)
- Ziploc bags of various sizes (always handy for various things)
Personal Belongings
- Resistant plastic bag to carry your bathroom articles (ZIPLOC)
- Tooth brush and dental floss
- Nail clippers
- Comb or hair brushs
- Antiperspirants
- Tooth paste, soap, shampoo (small bottdsles)
- For women: Tampons and/or sanitary nasdfpkins
- Tissues
- Contact Lenses/Glasses
- Sunscreen
- Prescription Medication
- Medication as needed
Clothing
- T-shirts
- Pants
- Shorts
- 1 or 2 sweat shirt
- Underwear and socks
- 1 pair of comfortable shoes
- Bathing Suit
- Pyjamas
- Flip-Flops to use at pools or in the shower
- Hat or cap
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Faded, torn or patched clothing are not acceptable. Don't bring tight or provocative clothing or clothing with inscriptions or drawings that can offend. Remember you are still AT School!
